Due to the amount of students self-isolating or responding to NHS track and trace, we are following Public Health advice and closing the Year 7 bubble for a short circuit break.
Starting from tomorrow, Thursday 1st July, lessons will be taught remotely and all Year 7 students will be required to access these lessons from home. Lessons will be delivered through Microsoft Teams. Students should log in to MS Teams at the start of every lesson, where their teachers will deliver a live & online lesson, which should be accessed through the MS Teams calendar. This will work in the same way as it did during the period of full lockdown earlier this year.
There is support on our website to help you get set up: https://www.theredhillacademy.org.uk/students/student-remote-working-2/. Should you require further support with accessing online work, please directly contact the IT department at IThelpdesk@theredhillacademy.org.uk.
Year 7 students will be expected back in school on Wednesday 7th July 2021.
As a reminder, here are the times of the Year 7 school day:
- 09:05 – Period 1
- 10:05 – Period 2 (break from 10:20 – 10:35)
- 11:20 – Period 3
- 12:20 – Lunch
- 12:50 – Period 4
- 13:50 – Period 5
Please continue to undertake the Lateral Flow Tests each Tuesday and Sunday, and let the school know immediately of any positive result.
Many thanks for your cooperation.
