Redhill Academy Students Celebrate Impressive 2021 GCSE Results

Redhill Academy Students Celebrate Impressive GCSE Results

Congratulations to the Class of 2021!

Despite the many challenges our students have faced over the past two years, Redhill Academy students are celebrating again this week after achieving an impressive set of GCSE results. An incredible 59 pupils gained the equivalent of 117 Grade 9s. Of particular note are Paul Hurst (9 grades 9’s and 1 grade 8), Caitlin Clarke (10 grade 9s and 1 grade 8) & Ramiz Ahktar (6 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s, 1 grade 7 and 1 grade 6). All are staying on to study A-levels at The Redhill Academy Sixth Form.

Redhill Academy Principal Andrews Burns said, “We are delighted at this year’s GCSE results, which reflect our students’ hard work, resilience and the talent here at Redhill. They have had a challenging year but have worked extremely hard both online and at school after their return. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing staff, who have superbly supported our students and have gone the extra mile to minimise any disruption to their learning. I also extend my thanks to parents and carers for their continued support. We are extremely proud of our students, our school and our community. I send my congratulations to all involved.”

Our Sixth Form provides a wonderful opportunity for students to fulfil their potential in a caring and vibrant community. The curriculum is broad, with a variety of traditional academic A-Levels and a breadth of enrichment opportunities beyond the classroom. For those Year 11 students who are undecided on their Post 16 education pathway, there is still time to apply for the 2021/22 academic year.

If you are interested in joining our Sixth form you can view our prospectus here, or apply now to join our amazing community.
