To say a lot has changed since our last Redhill Review in February would be the under-statement of the century! Our last ‘normal’ day was on Friday March 20th and then we had to hurriedly organise impromptu farewell assemblies for Years 11 and 13. Since then, school has only been open for the children of key workers but for the vast majority of our students, home schooling and lockdown has been the order of the day. I would like to con-gratulate our students on their amazing efforts in working remotely and to all parents who have supported their children throughout. We know it isn’t easy and I want to reassure both, students and parents, that we will make sure any gaps in learning are tackled when the students do return to school. In the meantime, please do contact us when difficulties arise. I would also like to thank the teaching and support staff for their continuing efforts in very difficult circumstances.
This copy of the Review is a great illustration of the talent, versatility and creativity of Redhill students. Considering the unprecedented times we are all living through, it makes their achievements all the more impressive. I hope you enjoy reading about what has been happening and please do continue to send stories and photos through for the next edition.
