The Redhill Academy was inspected by Ofsted last term on March 12 and 13.  We are extremely pleased and proud to have been awarded ‘outstanding’ for the second time in a row.  As you will see from the above report, the academy is judged to be outstanding in all four categories that relate to the achievement of students, the quality of teaching, students’ behaviour and how the academy is led and managed.

Inspectors found that “teaching is outstanding” and that “during the inspection … the teaching observed was consistently effective in capturing students’ interest and engagement”.  Our students were praised as behaving ”extremely well in lessons and around the academy site” and for being “calm, considerate and courteous at all times”.  The inspectors also found that “students are proud of their academy”, which to me is probably the sentence in the report that says most about what we try and do here at Redhill.
